On August 7, WEA sponsored a BBQ Luncheon for new teachers to District 50. Joining the WEA President, Rosie Jaramillo, were many members both Certified and ESP. They talked with attendees to help promote WEA membership. Kerri Dallman – CEA President, Shawn Courtney – California Casualty and Karl Panunzi—NTA Life were also on hand to introduce potential members to the many benefits that are available when you belong to WEA/CEA/NEA. There were gift card drawings and NTA had a drawing for a 37 “ Flat Screen TV giveaway.
WEA would like to welcome all of the staff that have signed on to be part of the WEA family as new members.
Special Congratulations to the WEA drawing winners. Danielle Davis from Fairview who received the Qdoba gift certificates and to Deborah Provera from Westminster Elementary who received the other WEA gift card.
We would also like to thank all of our members who took time out of their vacation or work day to come out and help us welcome the new employees and to promote Westminster Education Association.
